Ho Ho Ho...Santa's Workshop explodes

under my tree. This is what it looked like yesterday morning.

I got two more packages yesterday. I still haven't taken pictures of THAT yet...and we have more coming. Susan, PLEASE say you were kidding when you say you sent a REFRIGERATOR box!

Here's my tree in its full glory:

Oh, and check out THIS yummy goodness. Laurie over at Beauty and the Beer (not for the faint of heart, so skip her blog if you don't like cussing, talk of beer, etc, etc...but then, you don't know what you're missing!) was talking about her dry fudge...and I shared a recipe with her - this is what it looks like when it's DONE the easy way. Don't worry, I'm in a sharing mood, so you can have the recipe too!

Quick and Easy Fudge

12 oz bag semi sweet chocolate chips
2/3 cup butterscotch chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract

In a medium pot, heat all ingredients on low till melted. If desired, add appx 1 cup chopped nuts, or 1/2 cup nuts, 1/2 cup fruit (raisins, currants, dried cherries, etc). Add only after chocolate is completely melted.

To create the "wreath" above: use 8" cake pan. Cover can of condensed milk with plastic wrap, and line cake pan as well. Place milk can in center, scoop out chocolate mixture and distribute around dish. Garnish with candied cherries. Refrigerate for at least 1/2 hour. Remove from cake pan, place on dish and serve!

I just started putting the presents under the tree today. I should go get all of them & toss them under, but right now they are in our addition & out of the way - which is nice! :-) ~Lisa

I may have to try this today. I haven't had any fudge ALL SEASON, and it doesn't look like me holding out for someone to make it for me is gonna happen ... :)
