Thematic Photographic - Nature

Carmi's theme this week is Nature...and I have LOT of nature shots...but I just happened to get out last night to scope an area for photographing a family...and I had some decent shots, so I'm sharing them as part of the Thematic Photographic this week:

A pretty flower out by Pillsbury Crossing

Deceptively calm waters reflecting the beginning of fall

one of the only shots I could get of the Pillsbury Crossing Falls - we had immense amounts of rain last week and the creek was HIGH - the mud line and debris on the trees was ABOVE my head. But I'm going back to see if I can't get some more shots....DRESSED for some bushwacking and getting wet, too!

So pretty! I want to get out here soon - maybe after the leaves change - and get some fall photos. I love the colors of fall.

The bottom shot looks a lot like Upper Linville Falls in the mountains a few hours west of me. I got a few shots from the point where the Upper Falls becomes the Lower Falls that I used in a Wordless Wednesday a while back. And I have several like this, that I never posted because the timing was wrong.

Love the closeup of the flower in the first frame too. Good on ya!

I like the flower too, it's similar to the one on my blog... I love reflections, that's a beaut! and I never tire of falls, they are mesmerizing.

Great photos, I enjoyed!
