The 80's

For some odd reason, I've been addicted to 80's music lately...well, not so odd. It's the Scrapbook Divas fault, lol (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/thescrapbookdivas) We did an "unwind" (word scramble) of songs from the 80's....

Then, I got a link for a quiz online...check it out!

Crazy, I tell you!

Getting ready to move. The yard sale was pretty successful. The last of the JUNK is being taken tomorrow by someone on the freecycle group. Ever heard of freecycle? www.freecycle.org. There are organized Yahoo groups in most large cities. It's a great place to get free stuff and get rid of stuff you don't want, but don't want to put into the dump.

The kids are doing well. Scotty had his 1 year appointment on Monday (3/21/05). Why didn't he have it on his 1 year birthday? Well, because of Tricare and Eisenhower Medical Center, that's why. Apparently, Tricare has decided that you can ONLY see your primary healthcare manager if you are scheduling a routine appointment. If I wanted to get in earlier, I could have made a same day appointment, but I'm of the mind that people who REALLY need a same day appointment should get those, not people who don't feel like waiting for a month...anyway, I digress.

Scotty weighed in at 22 lbs. 4 oz. He's slowed down on his weight gain...but he's still in the 50th percentile for weight. He actually grew an inch, so he's now 29 inches. That puts him in the 25th percentile. Just like Hannah...never quite tall enough, lol! He absolutely HATES the doctor's office, though. Just being in the room makes him scream bloody murder. He had to have shots, too, and that was not pleasant...at least for laying down. As soon as he was picked up, he stopped crying. And the shots never affected him all that much!

On Saturday, Hannah goes in for her 4 year appointment! Will post more about that later!
