frosty world #4

This one is my favorite. It's a spruce tree right outside the CDC (Child Development Center for you non-military folks) where Hannah goes to preschool. It looks as though someone sprayed that fake snow-in-a-can all over it. I tried to get as close as I could without compromising the focus...hard to do with a point and shoot digital.

This morning, the frost was SO thick! The sun was out and I could examine the frost on some of the vines...the frost was almost a half inch LONG! It looked like icicles growing off the vines, only made with snow and growing in all directions. Of course, I did NOT have the camera with me. Some day, I'll REALLY learn how to use Scott's SLR and be able to take those closeups....
