Easter Best-dressed

Dress courtesy of Aunt Laurie (and the girls who outgrew it!) and tie courtesy of Grandma Linda.

Easter was wonderful. We all went to church and Scotty was the cutest boy in the children's nursery! Hannah sat through the entire service, since there was no children's church (BORING - as she told me MANY times!).

When we came home, Scotty didn't want to change into play clothes. He only did so because daddy was changing out of his clothes.

After nap, the boys got dressed in matching shirts (striped button-downs) and jeans. We had our downstairs neighbors up for dinner. I made a ham, mashed potatoes, corn, salad and pineapple stuffing. Lisa brought up homemade (from TOTAL scratch!) rolls and deviled eggs. I bought (okay - LAZY, I know!) French Silk Pie for dessert.

We ate, drank some wine, had a nice time. The kids played nicely and it was near tears time for the kids when they left. They all played so well together.

I like times like that, when we can sit and enjoy ourselves.

AND - I got to use my nice Polish pottery - so that was a bonus!!!
