I'm a bad parent...

I'll admit it - I let my kids watch TV...a lot of it. More than they should. But hey, they are well-spoken (as well as outspoken!), have learned a lot, and are smart as can be. Yes, there are downfalls, but there are benefits.

Worse yet...I let my kids watch Spongebob Squarepants. yeah...the little yellow guy who isn't the wettest sponge in the ocean. That guy. But he's sincerely a sweet character, and I think the kids probably don't pick up so much on the less-than-scrupulous characters, anyway. And I would prefer to watch Spongebob over Barney any day.

Anyway - the results of letting kids watch Spongebob? Hannah, who is not feeling well today, had a fit of energy this a.m. and while watching Spongebob, she created this:

Did I mention she only just turned 6? Look at the detail and accuracy...the striped socks, the pink tongue...the well-captured expression in his eyes....

She's awesome, that little girl...and I'm SO blessed to have her!

Did you ever watch the Dirty Dan and Pinhead Larry episode? "Who you callin' PinHead?" LMAO!!!

Have you let her try to scrap yet? She may have inherited her mommy's talent!
