more stuff...

just not photos, lol!

Took the kids to the dentist this morning. Both were whining, Scotty especially, and not wanting to go. But they had a great time, and Scotty was the picture of COOL when he came out...he had a BLAST. They were able to give him a fluoride treatment, and they said it's rare for 3 year olds to get one because they don't have the "spit" down well (and believe me, Scotty can SPIT!). The dentist told me that Hannah will need to come in when her 3rd molars are done coming in and get them sealed. Her teeth are already crowded in her mouth - meaning she'll probably be headed for orthodontia in the next few years (OUCH! My wallet can't handle that too!). Scotty has no such issues...lots of space in his mouth.

On my front - dentist on Friday.

I got my new glasses today. I thought I was going crazy for a minute, though. When I got there, he had the sunglasses done first, so he gave them to me to try on and see the fit. I couldn't see worth a darn. I thought I'd give it a few minutes but I was getting a bit nauseous! Just didn't seem right at all. He was adjusting the regular glasses, and gave me those. I put them on and...WOW....I could SEE. I told him that something must have gone wrong with the sunglasses. So he checked them. Turns out the lenses are the exact same shape and he put them in on the wrong side! So, the prescription was CORRECT, just put in the wrong eye! (sue, that might be what your issue is!!!) Now I can see well, and like the frames better than my rectangle ones. And the price was a-okay, too - 2 pairs for $89, including UV coating, scratch-resist, and tinting (I only had one pair tinted, though). So, unless I need bifocals in the next year, I should be fine for a while!

I got my first glasses a couple of months ago. At one point, I told the guy that there was something wrong with them. The colors and distance didn't seem right. He laught and said: Welcome to the real world lady !! Yeah... I was a bit overdue...

Michele sent me to wish you luck with the dentist on Friday !

Where did you get your glasses done? A national chain??? :-) I am in desparate need of new ones & keep putting it off. That sounds like an all around good deal to me!
