Also, thanks for your comment. My dad's a pastor, so I was raised with Jesus all around me, too, but I think having come out from the protective shelter of my parents' home and having to defend my faith (even to myself sometimes!) has been such a blessing. It truly has had to become my own. And isn't it amazing that He IS mine - or, more appropriately, that I am His!?!
I so hear you....I've been having trouble too!
