update on the "I wonder..."

I am pretty sure I know why she "friended" "check out my work" (which, quite frankly, can be seen at LinMac Photography OPENLY, since it's a fan page, and I don't block people, you know???).

Turns out she has a few friends in common with me, and it's quite apparent to me now that she's afraid of competition. She "defriended" me shortly after she added me.

Really...I think my work stands on its own. And if someone likes my work and recommends me to someone else, that's good. And if she gets jobs, that's good for her too. Guess what? There are over 11,000 people in my little city alone. I'm not too worried about getting work.

And while she does good work, it's not great...(not saying mine is any better, either). There are a TON of photographers out there that are FANTASTIC, too...and they're the ones getting the real work. Just sayin'.

Having gone back and read your previous post I can't say I'm surprised. She clearly sees you as a threat of some kind. Move on and forget about her. You don't need people like that around you.

Sounds like this woman is extremely petty and has confidence issues. You do fantastic work, it's truly HER loss, not yours by any means. You could have taught her some things and mutually helped each other and if she had any sense, she'd recognize that you're an Army wife and will be moving on in a year or two! Grrr to dumb people.

I agree... move on and forget about her. It is really too bad for her.

Keep lovin'! (And shooting photos!) :-)

I'm sorry, Linda. I agree...move on.
