hot, hot, HOT

We are NOT in Topeka, but only 45 minutes away...and believe you me, it's HOT in Manhattan (my car thermometer popped 100°....sigh)

That made me laugh even though I don't know what cartoon that was. : ) Still loved it.

I feel very lucky to be in CA for the summertimes. It might get in the low 90's, but generally pretty tolerable.

The heat in Virginia is unpleasant too- we're on a course of 14 days in the 90's with horrible humidity & a thunderstorm (thank goodness) to cool it all down in the afternoon.

I remember the hot, hot days at Ft Riley and feel your pain, ugh!! I remember when we moved there and I was under the assumption that KS had no humidity! LOL

I feel your pain! It's hot and muggy in NC.

Thanks for stopping by. If I keep it clean, maybe Ima Idiot. But I like the initial you used too!

Hope your AC is working!

I understand about the heat, though it hasn't been too bad here in Minneapolis..and even nicer at my home in Champaign.

Thanks for visiting my blog! I'm not sure how you found me, but I see that we share a common friend in Carmi, so that might be a clue - or it could have been from Thursday 13, a habit I need to re-establish.

Yes, I do live in Champaign. I'm a Minneapolis native who married a Champaign boy. Almost a year ago we moved to Ch to be with his family. I was just re-hired by my old employer to work virtual from home. It's a great gig with one caveat; I have to be in Minneapolis for 4 months of training. Thank goodness I have family here! So who do you know who lives in Champaign? If you wish, please use the email link on my blog to fill me in. :-)

I will be back. I got out of blogging for awhile, but I'm getting back into the swing again. Not only that, but I have a closet scrapbooking dream; lots of photos and supplies at home, but not much made. Now that I'll be working from home, I am hoping to start working on some layouts between calls. Ah, the wonderful home office! I'm sure I'll be back to your other blog for some inspiration.

I sure am glad I am no longer in Kansas! It was just a year ago we had some hot temps in Leavenworth. Now we are enjoying the wonderful coastal ocean breezes here in CA.

Hang in there!

It's hot here too -- but I have to say, it doesn't compare to England 4 summers back, when they hit 100+ fahrenheit, without air conditioning, and I went to a formal formal (extremely formal) (did I mention formal) dinner.... that evening it went down to 90 degrees by about 9pm, and everyone at the dinner was swimming in glow. (As in "horses sweat, etc").
