We just found out that THIS picture was included in Soldiers Magazine! It's in the January '08 issue, so it is not up online yet. We are in the process of securing copies...don't know how, but we'll get some! And of course, eventually, the PDF copy will be available at: Soldiers Magazine
I can not WAIT to see this. I absolutely adored this picture of Scotty, and it has gotten mileage here at Ft. Riley...but to be put into Soldiers Magazine...WOW!
I only wish I could take credit for the photo...but it belongs to the PAO woman who photographs the band all the time...for some stupid reason, I can't remember her first name! But her last name is Blackmon!

It is an incredible photo, and I can see why the magazine would want to publish it.
The PAO woman apparently shoots with a Nikon SLR. Neat!
(Sorry, got into photog mode. I like her shooting style, too. I echo it, minimum depth of field and all. It's a powerful scene.)
